By mainly using natural colours, my artwork is always in balance and have a certain serenity. Because earth tones have a calming and soothing atmosphere that plays an important role in my work. Give yourself some peace of mind and let you your eyes guide you to discover new things in my art. There is abstract work and figurative work or a combination of both.

Because of the variation in light and dark, I  try to show the light in everything around you, there is always a bright spot at the horizon, try to look at the positive side, appreciate the little things, a beautiful cloud, a smile from a stranger, a sunny day. Happiness can be everywhere.

There is abstract work and figurative work or a combination of both. My preference is for acrylic paint in combination with various mixed media in order to create a depth in my artwork.

I also illustrated several books, amongst others a series of children's books named `Meisje Eigenwijsje`, hard to translate, but it will be something like: Missy Smarty-pants. They were created together with my sister, she wrote the stories and I made the illustrations. Books are for sale in the shop or check the site: www.MeisjeEigenwijsje.com.

Every now and the I attend some exhibition with my artwork. However it is also possible to visit my studio.
